dc.description.abstract With a rapid growth of population, India is as of now confronting a massive increment in municipal solid waste produced. Be that as it may, India isn't dealing with their metropolitan solid waste effectively as the present frameworks can't adapt to the measures of solid waste delivered. Because of poor collection system frameworks, most families dump wastes on roads and very little of them is recuperated. However, there are not many finance related resources accessible to address the growing issue. Subsequently, India should build up a progressively efficient waste collection system that is structured by what credits households are happy to pay for. The motive of the study is to assess the peoples‘ motivations for effective waste management where they are an important stakeholder. If any alternative which seems to be feasible in such environment is proposed, then how people think about this. The view of this research is to decide how people think for improved environmental quality and rag-pickers as properties in another waste collection system. To this end, the examination question is as per the following: What is the ability to pay of local residents for explicit characteristics in another waste collection framework? The research question is addressed utilising open ended dependent valuation strategy to appraise the financial estimation of the expressed traits in another waste collection framework. The study will likewise gather financial data. Willingness to pay (WtP) at that point be determined and factors impacting WtP be dissected from a lot of autonomous factors, for example, gender, income, education, family size and family unit possession by utilising a logical regression. Also, the survey will gather data on recycling habits and motivations driving recycle to have the capacity to comprehend the outcomes that are discovered better. The outcomes show that family units are just ready to pay for an accumulation framework that utilizes cloth pickers. In any case, the members are happy to pay Indian National Rupee (INR) 40.63 per month for a collection system that utilises rag pickers and that improves environmental quality. This is higher than in some other v waste collection situation exhibited in the investigation. These outcomes recommend that if another collection system is to be created it should utilise rag pickers just as incorporate green innovation as this will expand the residents‘ willingness to pay for the framework. en_US
